The Truth, The Whole Truth and Nothing but The Truth This is a preview i did after clicking an adsense button.. i kept it incase its good for something else. i know its personal but i think its really funny and hope they dont take it down...jkl How can I review something that hasn't been heard... they have as much chance of recreating what happened at the Rainbow as Sid Vicious turning up to perform a cameo...PiL is dead...long live Keith Levene! (Me) Murder Global. They are still relying on all Levene's music and don't forget Wobble, a very important attribute to the original PiL sound to carry him through another mortgage crisis aside from the fact he craves attention so why does he maintain he doesn't care? Point is John Lydon insists he always tells the truth. Now this isn't news to the people that really thought maybe for a second they were actually going to see the original PiLline up. Nonsense as usual he opens his mouth and lets the rubbish flow out. (those are his words He sung it himself on the album Commercial Zone) which he buried and stole and re released it as This is what you get- etc., well it wasn't what we wanted. He didn't even ask any of the original members. We didn't get a chance to say no, how could we have said yes. Nonetheless Lydon goes ahead and announces the reformation of the original PiL. I thought he'd done it all when he reformed the Pistols but that was Glen's band and I'm glad Mr. Matlock got the recognition he deserved. All Lydon does is destroy anything good. He should watch some of his videos on youtube. Its painful! but he'd get the chance to see himself the way others do. It doesn't matter to him what the truth is. I preferred him when he truly didn't care and really said what he thought! Its sad, he's sad and full of conflict and fear. This is a pre revue and the truth as John would say. Please go and see for yourself. John reminds me of his nemesis Malcolm Maclaren. Judging competitions, getting involved in celebrity nonsense he would've slagged off back in the day when he was real. He's broken every promise he ever made to a public that took an interest. If you want to see PiL, go elsewhere. You may need a time machine or you could checkout what I'm doing now. In Tokyo in Febuary... If you want real PiL come to me..keithlevene.com When we formed PiL one of the main things we said was we'd never tour, it was a thing of the past. That was then. The biz has changed and live performance is a one of the only ways for musicians to make money and then its a maybe. Personally I'm happy for John to go around and promote my old company and hopefully render the material well enough for a new audience to take an interest in the early most influential work. I guess it suits Mr, Lydon too. Thanks John cos you know we would've said no but you never asked so you'll never really know will you. I hope you sell out all the concerts and good luck. It upset a lot of faithful PiL fans that you didn't even try to recruit the real band. At least we're all alive..it could have happened. Thank God it didn't. Now go and sell my Fukin records for me...jkl
Its called flogging a dead horse - The horse died in 1983....
ReplyDeleteHeh heh...I love it.....
ReplyDeleteListening to recent solo stuff by Keith, Wobble and Atkins, you can tell Lydon has missed out on the chance of an epic new PiL album!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to more from Keith!
The original Lydonwobblelevene line up will never reform and we all know it.
ReplyDeleteWobble has stated he doesn't want to work with jkl ever again, Lydon doesn't want to work with jkl again, jkl doesn't want to work with Lydon again.
Thank fuck for that - it would be a disaster, just like it occasionally was first time round (Futurama anyone?)
PiL were great, but it's 30 years ago. The corpse may venture out every now and again for a short tour, but its still a corpse, no matter who's involved.
